Centennial senior soccer boys remain unbeaten

GUELPH — The Centennial Spartans remained one of three undefeated teams in District 10 high schools senior boys’ soccer play Tuesday when they doubled the St. James Lions 4-2.

The win lifts Centennial to 2-0-3 while the Ross Royals are at 3-0-1 and Bishop Macdonell Celtics are also at 2-0-3.

Jan Bellavista, Andrew Hewitt, Harpreet Parmar and Asim Bhatia scored a goal apiece for Centennial.

St. James received goals from Johnathan Hernandez-Gibezzi and Andrew Pauli.


Guelph CVI 3 Centre Wellington 2

Emmett Lyall, Ben Sullivan and Oscar Warburton fired in a goal apiece for GCVI.

Aiden Patterson and Carlen Golding responded with single goals for Centre Wellington.



Lourdes 2 Bishop Macdonell 2

Isaiah MacInnis had both goals for GCVI.

Centre Wellington’s goal wasn’t available.


Centennial 3 St. James 2

Gurjot Anthwal, Campbell Morrison and Harjas Sran struck for single goals for Centennial.

Denver Drewery and Ruben Branco replied for St. James.
