Falcons, Lions in girls’ hockey deadlock

GUELPH – The Centre Wellington Falcons and St. James Lions skated to a 2-2 standoff in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play Monday at Victoria Road arena.

Keagan Jeffries and Lynsey Goodwin hit for a goal apiece for Centre Wellington.

Caitlan Krasinski scored both goals for St. James.

The tie moved the Falcons into a tie for first with the Ross Royals. The Falcons are at 3-0-2-0 and have a game in hand on Ross (3-1-2-0). St. James is sixth at 1-2-2.
