Guelph CVI returns to second in senior volleyball

GUELPH – The Guelph CVI Green Gaels climbed back into second place in the District 10 high schools senior boys’ volleyball league standings Thursday with a 3-2 victory over the Centre Wellington Falcons.

The Gaels won 25-14, 22-25, 18-25, 25-16, 15-9.

The Ross Royals lead the league at 10-0 while GCVI is second at 7-3. They’re followed by the Centennial Spartans at 6-4, Centre Wellington and Lourdes Crusaders at 5-5, Bishop Macdonell Celtics at 4-6, St. James Lions at 3-7 and Orangeville Bears at 0-10.

There are two weeks left in the league’s regular season.
