Nolan Wilson prevails at Victoria Park East

GUELPH – Nolan Wilson of the Galt Country Club won the bantam boys class and the overall title when he shot a round of 67 in the second stop of the Tee-It-Up Junior Golf Tour Monday at the Victoria Park East golf course.

Graem Costigan of Whistle Bear/Galt Country Club was second in the bantam boys’ category with a round of 68 while Kayden White of Whistle Bear was third at 71.

Rounding out the top 10 were Andreas Diogenous of Whistle Bear at 74, Aiden Shah of Westmount Golf & Country Club at 75, Zachary Burt of Whistle Bear at 77, Matthew Whitehead of Cambridge Golf Club at 78, Thomas Rerrie of Galt Country Club at 79, Spencer Young of Elmira at 80 and Curtis Coulson of Victoria Park East at 81.

Carter Mackay of Galt Country Club won the junior boys’ class and was third overall at 70.

Jacob Smith of Brantford Golf Club was second in the class at 74 while Brandon Logan of Cayuga Golf Club fired a 75.

Jack Deighan of Galt Country Club and Matthew Onik of Victoria Park East shot 76. Shooting rounds of 77 were Austin Snyder of Northridge, Jacob Foxworthy of Grey Silo, Jake Code of Elmira, Matt Sommerville and Zach Hart of Whistle Bear.

Peyton Costabile of Whistle Bear and Victoria Gates of Cambridge Golf Club/Galt Country Club each shot an 81 to tie atop the junior girls’ standings.

They were followed by Kyra Vandervoort of Whistle Bear at 82, Reese VanMackelberg of Whistle Bear at 83, Arrington Bard of Guelph Lakes at 84, Kristen Butterfield of Cambridge Golf Club/Oaks of St. George at 87, Olivia Sargla of Whistle Bear at 90, Delaney Watson of Conestoga at 95, Caitlin Shepherd at 98 and Daneka Miller of Paris Grand at 98.

Other events on the six-stop tour are at Oaks of St. George Golf Club July 27, Springfield Golf &Country Club Aug. 3, Guelph Lakes Golf & Country Club Aug. 9 and Galt Country Club Aug. 17.
