Patriots, Stayner to start PJHL North final Thursday

MOUNT FOREST – The Provincial Junior Hockey League’s North Conference final between the Mount Forest Patriots and Stayner Siskins is to start Thursday at Stayner Memorial Arena.

Game time is 8:10 p.m.

The Carruthers Division champion Stayner will have home-ice advantage in the series over the Pollock Division champion Patriots.

Game 2 is set for Saturday at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex starting at 8 p.m.

Game 3 is to go at Stayner March 25 at 1:30 p.m.

Game 4 is slated for March 27 at Mount Forest. Game time is 8 p.m.

Games 5, 6 and 7 will be played only if they’re needed.

Game 5 is scheduled for March 29 at Stayner starting at 8:10 p.m.

Game 6 is to go March 31 at Mount Forest at 8 p.m.

Game 7 is to be played April 1 at Stayner at 1:30 p.m.

The series is a PJHL quarter-final.

The other quarter-finals pit the Port Hope Panthers against the Lakefield Chiefs in the East Conference final, the Lambeth Lancers against the Lakeshore Canadiens in the West Conference final and the Tavistock Braves against the Glanbrook Rangers in the South Conference final.
