Philadelphia Flyers pick Ratcliffe in 2nd round

CHICAGO – Left winger Isaac Ratcliffe of the Guelph Storm was selected in the second round of the NHL draft Saturday.

The Philadelphia Flyers picked Ratcliffe with the fourth selection of the second round, the 35th overall pick.

Ratcliffe, a 6-foot-6, 200-pound winger from London led the Storm with 28 goals in the 2016-17 season. He also had 26 assists for 54 points in 67 games and he was assessed 65 minutes in penalties.

In two seasons with the Storm, Ratcliffe had 33 goals, 34 assists and 89 penalty minutes in 113 games.
