Reisman/Citizenguard Cadjanine take Erin Welcome opener

ERIN – Elissa Reisman guided Citizenguard Cadjanine to victory in the $10,000 Erin Welcome Open Welcome show jumping competition in the main stadium at Angelstone Tournaments Wednesday night.

Reisman and Citizenguard Cadjanine had the second fastest fault-free trip during the opening round as they were clocked at 77.05 seconds. They went one better on the smaller jump-off course, recording a time of 40.291 seconds.

It was a huge jump-off with 14 rider/horse combinations turning in fault-free runs in the opening round. That was exactly half of the field that completed the first round.

Four rider/horse combinations were fault free in the jump-off.

Knock Out 3e with Hugh Graham aboard finished second with a jump-off time of 41.68 seconds while Stanley Stone and Kevin Crosby were third at 42.486 and Chap L and Carly Campbellcooper were fourth at 48.032.

Six others had four faults apiece while another had five.

The meet, the first of Angelstone’s Spring Tour, continues throughout the week with the feature $25,000 Erin Welcome Grand Prix set for Saturday night.
