Ross Royals start girls’ hockey season with shutout win

GUELPH – The defending champion Ross Royals started their season with a 6-0 victory over the St. James Lions Thursday in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play at the Victoria Road arena.

Annie Lambkin led the Royals with two goals and an assist while Courtney Phillips had a goal and two assists and Keegan Camp collected a goal and an assist. Olivia Sarabura and Lauren Brulotte also scored one goal each.

Caitlyn Bortolato and Sarah Walker shared the goaltending chores and the shutout.
