Silvercreeks drop match to Halton Hills

GUELPH – The Guelph Silvercreeks’ losing streak in the Central Ontario Baseball Association’s junior league reached four games Wednesday night when they dropped an 8-5 decision to the Halton Hills Eagles.

The loss leaves the Silvercreeks at 2-5-0 while Halton Hills improved to 4-3-0.

The Eagles entered the game fresh off a championship win in the Mississauga North tournament.

The Silvercreeks are slated to play two away games this weekend as they’re to play the Hamilton Junior Cardinals (4-0-0) at Hamilton Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and the Dundas Chiefs (2-3-0) at Dundas Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
