St. James Lions basketball boys seeded 10th

GUELPH – The St. James Lions are seeded 10th for next week’s OFSAA provincial high school AA boys’ basketball championship tournament at Sault Ste. Marie.

Ashbury College Colts of Ottawa are the top seeds while Thornhill’s Thornlea Thunder are second seeds and Windsor’s Kennedy Clippers are seeded third.

The Lions are to play the 12th-seeded Timmins Blues in the opening round Monday at 1:30 p.m.

If St. James wins that game, they’ll play Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. If they lose, they’ll play Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Semifinals are set for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. while the bronze-medal game is to go at 6 p.m. and the gold-medal game at 8 p.m.
