Varsity Reds wrap up first in senior volleyball

SHELBURNE – The Norwell Varsity Reds clinched a first-place finish in the District 4 high school senior girls’ volleyball league with a 3-0 sweep of the Centre Dufferin Royals Wednesday.

Norwell won 25-4, 25-5, 25-16.

With one game to go in the regular season, the Varsity Reds hold a four-point lead over the second-place Emmanuel Christian Eagles of Fergus. The Eagles have secured a second-place finish as they’re six points up on the Wellington Heights Wolverines and Westside Thunder who are tied for third with eight points apiece.
