Westside knocks Norwell into third in senior volleyball

PALMERSTON – The Westside Thunder turned the three-way tie into a two-team knot atop the District 4 high school senior boys’ volleyball standings when they knocked the Norwell Varsity Reds out of the top-spot deadlock.

The Thunder swept the Varsity Reds 3-0, winning 25-22, 25-15 and 25-23.

The Emmanuel Christian Eagles kept their spot in the first-place tie with a 3-1 win over the Wellington Heights Wolverines. The Eagles won 25-15, 17-25, 25-12 and 25-20.

Westside and Emmanuel Christian have both won all three of their games while Norwell dropped to 2-1 and Erin improved to 1-2. Centre Dufferin Royals and Wellington Heights are both at 0-3.
