Another Sleeman Centre shutout for Nico Daws

GUELPH – Goaltender Nico Daws turned aside 39 shots to record his fourth shutout of the season as the Guelph Storm blanked the Barrie Colts 4-0 in Ontario Hockey League play Friday night at the Sleeman Centre.

The Storm, who yielded 31 shots on net in the first and third periods combined, took 36 with 22 of them coming in the second period.

The Storm went 2-for-10 on their power play and they held Barrie scoreless on seven power plays.

Former Guelph Hurricanes netminder Jet Greaves took the loss in the Barrie net. He had 32 saves.
