
Bears nip Falcons for first win of boys’ hockey season
FERGUS — The Orangeville Bears picked up their first win of the District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey season Monday as they slipped by the Centre Wellington Falcons 3-2 at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.
Scott Clapham had a goal and an assist for the Bears while Jackson Presley and Jackson Shabot also scored.
Jacob Middleton collected a goal and an assist for the Falcons while Keegan Detweiler scored the other goal.
The win for Orangeville followed a pair of losses while the loss was the first of the season for the Falcons following a pair of wins.
Centennial 3 St. James 2

Centennial has two wins and a loss and St. James has a win and a loss.
