Bishop Mac continues atop girls’ rugby’s Pool A
GUELPH – The Bishop Macdonell Celtics claimed their third consecutive victory in District 4/10 high school girls’ rugby play Wednesday as they downed the Westside Thunder 24-0 at Varsity Field.
Maja Gadzinska led the Celtics with a try and two converts. Other scorers were not reported.
Bishop Mac leads Pool A at 3-0-0 and is followed by the Erin Raiders at 2-0-0, Wellington Heights Wolverines at 1-1-0, Westside at 0-2- and Norwell Varsity Reds at 0-3-0.

Guelph CVI 10 Centennial 5
Guelph CVI Green Gaels picked up their first win in league play with the victory.
Tianna Dolderman and Sarah Ramage scored the tries for the Gaels.
Lauren Protz had a try for Centennial.
Ross Royals and Orangeville Bears are tied for first in Pool B at 2-0-0 while the Centre Wellington Falcons are at 2-1-0. GCVI follows at 1-3-0 and Centennial’s at 0-3-0.
