Bishop Mac gives Crusaders the slip in girls’ hockey

GUELPH — The Bishop Macdonell Celtics slipped by the Lourdes Crusaders 2-1 in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play Wednesday at Exhibition arena.

Sophia Dixon scored both goals for Bishop Mac while Kylee Tracey and Morgan Boudreau each had an assist.

Kayla Tenhag scored the goal for Lourdes while Georgia Bernard picked up an assist.

Bishop Mac moves to second with the win as it lifted the Celtics’ record to 5-2-0-0. Centre Wellington Falcons lead at 6-0-1-0 while the Ross Royals are third at 4-0-1-0 and Lourdes is fourth at 3-4-0-0.

GCVI forfeited Tuesday’s game.
