Bishop Mac hockey boys move into tie for top spot

GUELPH – The Bishop Macdonell Celtics moved into a tie for first place with the Centre Wellington Falcons following a 4-1 victory over the Centennial Spartans Thursday at Centennial arena.

Trent DiCiccio led the Celtics with a pair of goals while Jake Fries and Lucas Wells also scored.

Brodie Goodchild netted the goal for the Spartans.

Bishop Mac and Centre Wellington are tied for first with identical 5-0-0 records. The Orangeville Bears are third at 3-0-0 and are the only other undefeated team.

The loss left Centennial at 0-5-0.
