
Bishop Mac remains unbeaten in senior boys’ soccer
GUELPH – The Bishop Macdonell Celtics blanked the St. James Lions 3-0 to remain undefeated in District 10 high school senior boys’ soccer play Thursday.
Chris Qushair scored twice for Bishop Mac while Gian Luca had the other goal. The shutout was shared by Joey Guanzon and Kevin Marfo.
Bishop Mac (4-0-1) and the Guelph CVI Green Gaels (4-1-1) are tied for first with 13 points apiece, but GCVI has played one more game than everyone else in the seven-team league. Centennial Spartans are at 2-2-1 and are followed by the Orangeville Bears and Ross Royals who are both at 2-3-0, Lourdes Crusaders at 1-3-1 and St. James Lions at 1-4-0.

Milkyas Teklebrhon had the goal for Lourdes.

Junior Boys
Guelph CVI 7 Orangeville 2
Sepehr had a hat trick for GCVI while Zettel added two goals and Momin and McCoubrey also scored.
Scoring for Orangeville were Rowan and Morgan.
Ross 7 Centre Wellington 2
Ross received a pair of goals from K. Chin while single goals were potted by T. Davison, G. Brown, M. Rilley, T. Romero and N. Thompson.
Centre Wellington’s goals were scored by J. Martinez and S. Blonde.
