Celtics connect for their first win in boys’ hockey

PALMERSTON — The Bishop Macdonell Celtics collected their first win of the District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey season Tuesday when they downed the Norwell Varsity Reds 5-3 at the Palmerston arena.

While they’ve only played two games, the Celtics are the only team in the eight-team league that hasn’t lost in regulation time. They dropped their opener last week to the St. James Lions in overtime.

Tuesday, Dylan Weber and Deacon Creen scored twice each while Vincent Piccone had the other goal for Bishop Mac.

Adam MacRobbie, Nate Binkley and Brayden Harrow each had a goal for Norwell.
