Celtics hockey girls score three in second in win over Lions

GUELPH – The Bishop Macdonell Celtics connected for three goals in the second period on their way to a 6-0 victory over the St. James Lions in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play Monday at the Victoria Road arena.

The Celtics had scored once in the first period and added two more goals in the third.

Morgan Boudreau fired home two of the goals for Bishop Mac while Chantel Puzik, Devan MacDonald, Jenna Reia and Sam Stamp each had one. Julia Tonin assisted on two of the goals while single assists went to Emma Belluzzi, Reia and MacDonald.

The result leaves Bishop Mac at 4-2-0-0 and St. James at 0-4-1-0.
