Centennial doubles Lourdes to keep share of first in baseball
GUELPH – The Centennial Spartans retained their share of first place in the District 4/10 high school baseball league’s standings with a 4-2 victory over the Lourdes Crusaders Wednesday at Pearson Park.
Details were not reported.
The Spartans have a 3-1-0 record while the Ross Royals have won all three of their matches.
Lourdes falls to .500 at 2-2-0 with the loss.
The Westside Thunder, the lone D4 team in the league, forfeited a pair of matches Wednesday at Pearson Park as both Ross and the Guelph CVI Green Gaels were awarded 7-0 victories.
