
Centre Dufferin gets first two senior soccer wins of season
SHELBURNE — The Centre Dufferin Royals of Shelburne struck for a pair of 6-1 victories this week for their first two wins of the District 4 high school senior boys’ soccer league season.
Wednesday, the Royals defeated the Wellington Heights Wolverines after they had beaten the Norwell Varsity Reds Monday.
Jayden Jeffrey and Gonzalo Marquez had two goals apiece for the Royals Wednesday while Riaz White and Noah Weldeab added single goals.
Kellen Campos-Callaghan scored for Wellington Heights.
Marquez had a hat trick for Centre Dufferin Monday while Zimmelink scored for Norwell.

Chris Cooke had the game’s lone goal.
Westside 4 Norwell 3
Getting a goal apiece for Westside were Bradbury, Hayward, Harvey and Jesus.
Replying with single goals for Norwell were Moore, George and Dineen.

Braden Haddon scored for Erin while Alex Lamb tallied for Westside.
Emmanuel Christian 6 Wellington Heights 0
Curtis Reinink and Joseph Kottelenberg each scored twice for Emmanuel Christian while Gary Vis and Isaac Spanninga added the other goals.
