Centre Wellington stays unbeaten in girls’ hockey

FERGUS – The Centre Wellington Falcons remained undefeated in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play as they downed the Ross Royals 7-1 Monday at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.

The Falcons have won all four of their league outings, outscoring their opponents 31-6 in the process.

Denver Feltham led the Falcons with a pair of goals while singletons were added by Ellen Bouwman, Abigale Kirk, Alli Pettifer, Olivia Kosempel and Kiera Healey. Kirk also had three assists while Pettifer had two and Healey, Feltham, Campbell Lean, Alwynn Mackie, Kosempel and Ella Zwep had one apiece.
