Crusaders back into third in senior hoops

ORANGEVILLE – Lourdes Crusaders stand alone in third place in the District 10 high school senior boys’ basketball league standings following a 59-49 victory over the Orangeville Bears Tuesday at Orangeville.

Kevin Martinez led the Crusaders with 20 points while Geeth Kenneth followed with 15.

Brandon Hughes had a game-high 22 for Orangeville and Jeriah Valladares netted 10.

Rylan Ninaber connected for 20 points for GCVI and Noah Guthrie added 16.

Matt MacEachern collected 17 for Bishop Mac and Justin Faienza contributed nine.

 

Centre Wellington 65 St. James 42

Brock Newton had 22 points to lead Centre Wellington while Keenen Lochert collected 13.

Matt Sanvido struck for 17 for St. James and Alex Garbuio chipped in with nine.
