Elora Rocks tripled by Ripley Wolves

RIPLEY – The Elora Rocks suffered a 6-2 loss to the Ripley Wolves in Western Ontario Athletic Association senior men’s hockey play Saturday night at the Ripley arena.

Ripley led 2-0 at the end of the first period and 3-1 after the second.

Kevin Tuckey and Ben Piluk had the goals for Elora.

Gerrit Satosek scored three times for Ripley, all in the third period, while single goals were added by Nick Locking, Brett Catto and Dan Nicoloff.

The result leaves the Rocks ninth in the 14-team league at 9-9-1-0 while Ripley is second at 16-3-1-0.

The Rocks have three games to go in their regular season. They’re to play the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks at the Saugeen Shores Community Complex Friday at 8:30 p.m.
