Erin Raiders capture two girls’ soccer wins this week

ERIN – The Erin Raiders struck for their second win of the week as they downed the Westside Thunder 4-1 in District 4 high school girls’ soccer play Wednesday.

Charlotte Cuthbertson connected for a hat trick for the Raiders while Norah McClinchey also scored.

Vanessa Russell had the lone goal for Westside.

Monday at Mount Forest, the Raiders blanked the Wellington Heights Wolverines 7-0.

The Cuthbertsons, Alixandra and Charlotte, had two goals apiece for Erin in that game while single goals were netted by Ella Chambers, Norah McClinchey and Olivia Toogood.

Emmanuel Christian 3 Norwell 0

Hanna VanSydenborgh had a pair of goals for Emmanuel Christian while Brenna Niezen added the other goal. Lydia deJonge recorded the shutout.

Westside 1 Norwell 1

Lauren Wilson-Fairservice scored for Westside while Reese Miller had the goal for Norwell.
