Falcons add another win in boys’ hockey loop

FERGUS – The Centre Wellington Falcons made it two wins in as many outings in the District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey league this season as they handed the Guelph CVI Green Gaels a 4-1 setback Thursday at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex.

Aiden Skerritt led the Falcons with a pair of goals while Mark McIntosh and Jake Ristov added one goal apiece.

Brett Reynolds scored for GCVI.

Centre Wellington is the only team in the eight-team league to have played twice this season.

That is to change Friday as the Ross Royals are to host the Wellington Heights Wolverines at the Victoria Road arena. Game time is 4 p.m.

That game is to be the second of the season for the Royals and the first for Wellington Heights.
