Falcons post shutout win to stay unbeaten in girls’ hockey

GUELPH – The Centre Wellington Falcons remained undefeated in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play Thursday as they slipped by the Lourdes Crusaders 2-0 at Exhibition arena.

Scoring details were not reported.

The win was the fourth in as many games for the Falcons while the loss dropped the Crusaders to 2-3-0.

Ross received a hat trick from Keegan Camp while Sarah Taylor, Olivia Smith and Lauren Brulotte each had a goal and an assist. Courtney Phillips scored the other goal and Carolina Ross and Kiley Rowsell each collected an assist.

Sarah Walker posted the shutout.

The win leaves Ross at 3-2-0 while GCVI falls to 1-4-0.
