Falcons, Royals collect boys’ hockey victories

FERGUS – The Centre Wellington Falcons remained a point ahead of the Ross Royals atop the District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey league standings as both posted victories Monday.

The Falcons lead the eight-team league at 5-1-0-0 while the Royals are second at 4-1-1-0.

 

Centre Wellington 7 Norwell 0

Owen Bright picked up the shutout in the game at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.

Chris Rathwell collected two goals and two assists while Jack Webley had two goals and an assist. The other goals were scored by Tye Sanderson, Eddie McDonald and Jacob Middleton.
