Falcons spring senior volleyball surprise on Gaels

GUELPH – The Centre Wellington Falcons evened their record at two wins and two losses as they handed the Guelph CVI Green Gaels their first loss of the District 10 high school senior boys volleyball league season Thursday at GCVI.

The Falcons won 3-2 to move into a three-way tie for fourth place.

Centennial Spartans lead the league at 4-0 while GCVI and the Ross Royals are tied for second at 3-1. Tied with the Falcons for fourth place are the Bishop Macdonell Celtics and Lourdes Crusaders while the St. James Lions and Orangeville Bears are tied for seventh at 0-4.
