The Siskins outshot the Patriots 39-35, but were scoreless on seven power plays while Mount Forest went 2-for-5 with a manpower advantage.

Game time Friday is 8 p.m.

If the Patriots win that game, Game 6 is to go Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Stayner.

The North Conference is the only conference in the league that hasn’t had a champion decided. The Wellesley Applejacks won the South Conference, Clarington Eagles won the East Conference and the Lakeshore Canadiens won the West Conference.

The conference champions are to gather in Woodstock for the league’s Schmalz Cup Final Four championship tournament May 12 to 14.
