BURLINGTON – Guelph Union connected for a goal in each half to down Burlington SC 2-0 in League1 Ontario Women’s Premier soccer play Wednesday night at City View Park.
Justine Rodrigues, who scored in the first half of Sunday’s home draw with Waterloo, did the same thing with a first-half goal against Burlington. She tallied in the 32nd minute.

Dani Sauve added a little insurance with a goal in the second half in the 82nd minute.
Goalkeeper Libby Brenneman picked up the win with her second clean sheet of the season.
Union moves into a tie for fourth in the 20-team league with a 3-1-1 record while Burlington’s tied for 19th at 0-6-0.
Next up is a home match against Electric City FC of Peterborough Sunday at 4 p.m. at Alumni Stadium. Electric City is tied for seventh at 3-2-0.
