Grand River Gargoyles clobber Demons
GUELPH – The Grand River Gargoyles wrapped up the home portion of their AFL Ontario season by trampling the High Park Demons.
The Gargs dropped High Park 139-3.
Dave Maurer and Sam Skelhorn each scored six goals while Derek Govier kicked in four.
The result leaves the Gargs at 4-7-0 with an 85.58 percentage.
The Gargs are to complete their season Sept. 8 with a game against the Etobicoke Kangaroos (8-2-0 and 242.40) at 11 a.m. All eight teams in action that day will play at Humber College.
