Green Gaels give Centre Dufferin the slip in field hockey

SHELBURNE – The Guelph CVI Green Gaels slipped by the Centre Dufferin Royals 2-1 in District 4/10 high school field hockey play Friday at Centre Dufferin.

Sara Michael and Olivia Puddephat hit for the goals for GCVI.

Saige Morley scored for Centre Dufferin.

The Ross Royals lead the league at 4-0-1 while Orangeville has won all four of its games that were reported. GCVI is at 3-1-0 while the Bishop Macdonell Celtics are at 2-3-1, Centre Wellington Falcons are at 2-3-0, Centennial Spartans are at 1-2-2, Centre Dufferin is at 1-3-2 and the Wellington Heights Wolverines are at 0-5-0.
