Gryphon hockey men dropped by hot Thunderwolves

THUNDER BAY – The trip north for a game less than 24 hours after they’d posted an emotional win in their annual Frosty Mug Game proved just a little too much for the Guelph Gryphons to overcome.

The Gryphs surrendered seven goals in the first period as they were downed 9-4 by the Lakehead Thunderwolves in OUA men’s hockey play Friday night at the Fort William Gardens.
