Gryphon hockey women top Ryerson to finish preseason

TORONTO – The Guelph Gryphons wrapped up their OUA women’s hockey league preseason Saturday with a 5-1 victory over the Ryerson Rams at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.

The Gryphs finish their preseason with two wins and two losses while Ryerson finishes with a win and three losses.

Guelph is to begin its regular season this week with a pair of games against the Western Mustangs.

The Gryphs and Mustangs are to play at the Gryphon Centre Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and at Western’s Thompson Arena Saturday at 7 p.m.
