Gryphon lacrosse women end seven-game losing streak
LONDON – The Guelph Gryphons split a pair of games to wrap up their OUA women’s field lacrosse regular season Saturday at Western.
The Gryphs fell 10-4 to the McMaster Marauders in their first match of the day before rebounding for a 17-7 win over the Brock Badgers.
That victory was Guelph’s first since a 14-0 win over the York Lions Sept. 21 and they had seven losses between the wins.
Scoring details were not reported.
The Gryphs finish their regular season at 2-11.
Next up is next weekend’s OUA championship tournament at Ontario Tech, previously known as UOIT, in Oshawa.
