
Gryphon lacrosse women split matches at Waterloo
WATERLOO – The Guelph Gryphons split a pair of games at Waterloo in OUA women’s lacrosse play Saturday.
The Gryphs edged the Laurier Golden Hawks 4-3 before falling 17-1 to the Western Mustangs.
Western leads the West Division at 4-0 while the Gryphs, McMaster Marauders and Laurier are each at 2-2 and the Brock Badgers are at 0-4.
Trent Excalibur lead the East Division at 3-0 and are followed by the Queen’s Gaels at 2-0, Toronto Varsity Blues at 0-2 and Ontario Tech Ridgebacks at 0-3.
The Gryphs are to play a pair of games against East Division teams Saturday at Queen’s as they’re to battle the host Gaels in the morning and Trent in the afternoon.
