Gryphon soccer men shut out Windsor, too
WINDSOR – Erik Hermanns recorded the clean sheet as the Guelph Gryphons blanked the Windsor Lancers 3-0 in OUA men’s soccer play Friday night at Windsor’s Alumni Field.
The Gryphs scored once in the first half with Jonathon Amoo knocking home a corner kick.
Jack Sears added the second goal midway through the second half and Alex Zis completed the scoring late in the match.
The Gryphs lead the West Division at 3-0-2 while the York Lions are second at 3-0-1. Windsor is tied for fourth at 2-2-1.
The Gryphs are to play the sixth-place Western Mustangs (2-3-0) Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at London.
