Gryphon volleyball women again sweep by RMC
GUELPH – The Guelph Gryphons swept the RMC Paladins for a second consecutive night in OUA women’s volleyball play Saturday night at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.
The Gryphs won 25-16, 25-20, 25-13 to close their season with their fourth consecutive victory.

Neither team qualified for the playoffs. Guelph finished the regular season at 7-13 and RMC finished at 0-20.
The Gryphs had a .271 kill percentage while RMC was at .032.
Guelph had 39 kills, 12 aces, six blocks, 35 assists and 47 digs while RMC had 22 kills, five aces, three blocks, 20 assists and 42 digs.
Jaymie Stephenson had eight kills while Briar Crerar each had seven. Ella Carter had 30 assists while Alexa Shields had four and Maia Dan had one. Carter, Leah Stewart and Sydney Simonson each had three aces. Samantha Ingleton had two blocks while Shields, Stephenson, Crerar and Sophie Kalbfleisch each had one. Crerar had 11 digs while Carter had eight and Shields had seven.
Ashley Raymond had eight kills for RMC while Jayda Phillipson had 17 assists and two aces, Taryn Bender also had two aces and two blocks and Lilie Demelo had 11 digs.
