Gryphons Black OWSL Provincial squad handed setback by Aurora

GUELPH – The Guelph Gryphons Black were downed 4-0 by Aurora FC in Ontario Women’s Soccer League Provincial action at the Gryphon Soccer Complex Tuesday.

Cass Milani connected for a pair of goals for Aurora while Steph Pongrac and Natalie Coscarella had one apiece. The shutout was recorded by Caroline Kewley.

The result leaves Gryphons Black at 0-6-2 and Aurora at 2-4-1.

Next up for Gryphons Black, who have four games remaining on their season, is a home game against Windsor Caboto (4-2-0) Sept. 12 at Centennial Bowl. Game time is 1 p.m.
