Gryphons KDSL men dropped by Polish Eagles

KITCHENER – The Guelph Gryphons suffered their seventh loss in as many Kitchener and District Soccer League Premier Division games this season when they were dropped 5-1 by Polish Eagles Kitchener SC Wednesday night at Kitchener’s Budd Park.

Matthew Cantin’s goal for the Gryphons was their first away goal this season.

Krystian Mroczkowski scored twice for the Eagles while Augustine Gayflor, Brandon Peter, Edward Sylie and Jordan Aivailotis added single goals.

The win lifted the Eagles to 3-1-1.

Next game for the Gryphons is set for July 21 when they’re to tangle with Banat SFC (3-2-1) at Kitchener’s Banat Park. Game time is 3 p.m.
