Gryphons KDSL women dropped by Wildfire

WATERLOO – The Guelph Gryphons suffered a 4-1 setback to the Wildfire of Waterloo in Kitchener and District Soccer League Women’s Division play Sunday afternoon at Westmount Park.

Monica Little hit for the lone goal for the Gryphons.

Angie Fernandes, Jen Symanyk, Jess Carter and Katie Kropf connected for a goal apiece for Wildfire.

The Gryphons, who are 3-6-1 in league play, have three games left on their regular-season schedule starting with a game against Dufferin FC Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Marden Park.
