Gryphons OSL Provincial West men in deadlock with Olimpia Toronto

MISSISSAUGA – The Guelph Gryphons battled Olimpia Toronto to a 3-3 standoff in Ontario Soccer League Provincial West play Friday at Mississauga’s Dr. Martin Dobkin Park.

Zack Hallgrimson, Isaac Bell and Andrew Leplante scored a goal apiece for the Gryphons.

Bartosz Potaczala had two goals for Olimpia to take over the league lead with nine on the season. Jaroslaw Szczepaniuk scored the other goal.

The Gryphons are seventh in the 11-team league at 3-6-2 while Olimpia is second at 5-1-5.

Next up for the Gryphons is a game against league-leading Caledon FC (7-2-2) Thursday at 8:45 p.m. at the Centennial Bowl.
