Gryphons OWSL Provincial South women blanked by Woodbridge

GUELPH – The Guelph Gryphons completed their Ontario Women’s Soccer League Provincial South season with a 3-0 loss to league-leading Woodbridge Strikers Thursday night at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.

The loss was the second consecutive shutout setback for the Gryphons as they had been defeated 2-0 by Niagara United Blue a week earlier.

The Gryphons finish at 3-9-2 and in seventh place in the eight-team league. They’re the only team in the league to have played all 14 of their games.

Woodbridge leads at 8-1-4 while Niagara United is fourth at 5-4-2.
