Gryphons PE U21 women edged by London Football Academy

LONDON – After going undefeated through their first three games of the Ontario Women’s Soccer League Provincial Elite U21 season, the Guelph Gryphons have now lost two consecutive games.

The Gryphons were edged 2-1 by London Football Academy Monday night at London’s German Canadian FC Stadium.

Issabella Villaflor netted the lone goal for Guelph.

Jenna Murray and Maddy Wilson tallied for London Football Academy.

The result leaves the Gryphons at 2-2-1 and London Football Academy at 3-1-0.

The Gryphons are to host Vaughan Azzurri (also 2-2-1) at the Gryphon Soccer Complex Wednesday at 9 p.m.
