Gryphons Red soccer women topped by Windsor

GUELPH – Guelph Gryphons Red were handed a 3-1 setback by Windsor Caboto Strikers in Ontario Women’s Soccer League provincial play Sunday at Mic Mac Stadium in Windsor.

Mara Caroll-Lyssy scored the goal for Gryphons Red.

Windsor received goals from Rebecca Fuerth, Tiffany Tremblay and Kristen Swiatoschik.

The loss was the third in a row for Gryphons Red who are 0-4-1 on the season.

The Gryphons Red are to play the King City Royals at King City Wednesday. Game time is 9 p.m.
