Guelph Oaks top Croatia Norval to stay atop conference

NORVAL – The Guelph Oaks remained atop the Ontario Soccer League’s Regional South conference as they edged Croatia Norval 2-1 at Norval Centre Sunday.

Maximillian Raab scored both goals for the Oaks.

Peter Vidovic responded with the lone goal for Croatia Norval.

The win leave the Oaks in first place in the six-team conference at 9-3-1. Croatia Norval is fifth at 2-10-1.

Next up for the Oaks is a game against sixth-place BAS (2-6-0) Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. at Eastview Park.
