Guelph Royals and London Majors rained out

GUELPH – The Guelph Royals had their Intercounty Baseball League game against the London Majors set for Friday night at London’s Labatt Park postponed by rain.

No make-up date has been announced.

Weather permitting, the Royals are to host the league-leading Kitchener Panthers Saturday at Hastings Stadium. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The Panthers lead the eight-team league at 12-5 while the Royals are sixth at 6-10.

The Royals and Panthers have played once this season with Kitchener prevailing 3-2 in 11 innings at Kitchener’s Jack Couch Park June 10.
