Guelph Royals dropped in OSL Regional West opener

MISSISSAUGA – The Guelph Royals were clouted 10-1 by Distinctionz SC in their Ontario Soccer League Regional West season opener Saturday night at Dr. Martin Dobkin Park.

James Templeman scored the lone goal for the locals.

Rayjay Gibbs led Distinctionz SC with four goals while Justin Paulo scored twice. Single goals were added by Jason Goncalves, Stephon Brown, Wellington Chavon and Delano Gibbs.

The Royals are to host Hamilton Serbians (0-0-0) Thursday at 9 p.m. at the Centennial Bowl.
